Summer Associate Testimonials

“Nothing else can rival the first-hand patent prosecution and litigation experience gained by working as a summer associate at Young Basile.  From the first day I was provided real assignments in which I was advocating on the behalf of an inventor.  Have no worries though; Young Basile has a development program designed to teach new attorneys everything they will need to be successful and a senior staff that appreciates the need to cultivate lasting relationships with prospective associates.” Kyle Quigley 2013

“The team atmosphere at Young Basile fosters a positive working environment.  Everyone at the firm, from administrative assistant to senior partner, is willing to take time to answer questions and provide examples of the expected work product.  This direction is immensely important in developing the skills needed to succeed as an attorney.” Stacie Farina 2012

“It was important for me to find the right firm when I transitioned from the automotive industry.  With my experience at Young Basile’s Ann Arbor office, I wish I made the change sooner.  Both the shareholders and associates aim to grow the summer associates into successful, knowledgeable intellectual property attorneys.  Not only do I assist a senior shareholder on litigation, I am exposed to patent prosecution and trademark matters.  With the field of intellectual property so diverse, the exposure to all aspects of IP law has added value to my legal career.”  Dan Kosmowski 2014
