Practice Summary

Mr. Checkowsky practices all aspects of intellectual property, with a primary focus on patent prosecution in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, including motor vehicles, turbines, internal combustion engines, transmissions, control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, optics, and medical devices.

He counsels both start-ups and established companies regarding domestic and foreign patent prosecution, infringement and freedom to operate studies, as well as opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
