Donald L. Wood

Donald Wood is of counsel with the firm’s Troy office. He joined Young Basile in 1984.

Practice Summary:

Mr. Wood concentrates his practice on intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on patent prosecution and counseling. During his fifty year career, he has examined, prepared, and/or prosecuted over 2,000 patent applications.

Industry Experience:

Mr. Wood served as a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent Office, as senior patent attorney with Chrysler Corporation, and as Associate Patent Counsel of Eaton Corporation. He also served as 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, serving as Commanding Officer of a Battalion Motor Pool and a radar field site.

Representative Clients:

Through his representation of hundreds of automotive clients over many years, he is intimately familiar with all aspects of automotive technology.
